VAX MANDATE TO THE SUPREMES
Dear Friends,
A few days before Christmas, the U.S. Supreme Court issued an order stating that it was deferring a stay of OSHA’s Vaccine Mandate ETS, but that it would be holding oral argument on the ETS and a similar rule affecting healthcare workers on January 7, 2022. So while a stay may yet be issued, at this point, you should be planning as if the ETS will go into effect on January 10, 2022, the current date for most of the ETS’ deadlines.
If you are a covered employer and have not done so, you should be surveying your employees regarding their vaccination status and creating your vaccine status roster. You should also create your vaccine policy. Finally, create your plan on how you will be rolling this out.
