Overview
When multiple lawyers share attorneys’ fees in a case, especially in contingent fee cases, disputes over those fees are not uncommon. Our firm has been retained by some of Texas’ most prominent attorneys to protect their interests in fee disputes in jurisdictions across the state. We are most commonly retained to protect the fees earned by our client when other lawyers assert an interest in such fees. Sometimes we are retained to collect our client’s share of fees when other lawyers refuse to disperse funds owed to our clients. We are regularly retained to resolve fee disputes before they turn into litigation. If litigation does ensue, we are retained to protect our client’s interests in court. We consider it one of the highest compliments available when the best in our profession turn to our firm when they need the best representation available.
