Dale Jefferson and his team regularly represent lawyers, corporate officers and directors, estate executors and trustees, accountants, real estate professionals, and other fiduciaries. The firm has successfully tried numerous fiduciary cases to verdict in state court, federal court, probate court and in arbitration.
Dale Jefferson is a frequent CLE lecturer at courses tailored to specialized fiduciary issues. Among others, Mr. Jefferson has spoken at the State Bar Advanced Estate Planning and Probate Course and at the State Bar Fiduciary Litigation Seminar. In 2016, Mr. Jefferson was selected by the State Bar of Texas to be the Course Director for the Annual Fiduciary Litigation Seminar. He also mediates fiduciary cases. In 2008, Mr. Jefferson was elected into membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates, an organization that certifies only experienced first-chair jury trial attorneys into membership. In 2019, he was awarded the Joseph S. Horrigan Award for Fiduciary Litigation Excellence by the State Bar of Texas. Recently, Best Lawyers named him 2024 Lawyer of the Year in Houston, TX for Legal Malpractice Law - Defendants.
