Overview
Mr. Scott actively pursues probate and fiduciary, personal injury, professional liability, commercial transportation and construction litigation. His diverse experience litigating on behalf of industry-leading companies, as well as working as in-house corporate counsel, gives him a unique perspective, allowing him to tailor his approach to a legal matter without losing focus of client-specific needs. He has served as an Adjunct Professor of both Legal Research and Writing, and Civil Pre-trial Advocacy for the University of Houston Law Center. He has lectured and critiqued lawyers in the area of deposition advocacy at the request of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Scott has successfully tried to verdict a variety of cases before judges and juries across the state, including probate and fiduciary matters, trucking liability cases, workers compensation litigation, personal injury and property claims. He has successfully navigated clients through bet-the-company litigation, obtaining dismissals, verdicts and settlements in a wide range of legal matters.
