Overview
Mr. Owen is a partner in Martin, Disiere, Jefferson & Wisdom’s appellate section. Mr. Owen has been board-certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Civil Appellate Law since 2019.
In addition to representing clients in civil appeals in state and federal courts, Mr. Owen also assists clients and trial counsel with complex issues in litigation, including jurisdiction contests, summary judgments, preservation of error at trial, the jury charge, and post-trial motions. Before entering private practice, Mr. Owen served as a briefing attorney for the Honorable Charles W. Seymore of the Fourteenth Court of Appeals of Texas.
