Ronniesha Smith

Ronniesha is a defense attorney whose practice primarily focuses on insurance coverage and litigation, first -party bad-faith litigation and employment and labor. In each instance, Ronniesha focuses on the intricate details of each matter holding clients’ needs as the top priority.

In addition to her focus areas, Ronniesha brings an in-house perspective, supporting senior counsel of fortune 500 companies handling large financial institution issues regarding compliance with federal regulations, as well as a federal government perspective working with the United State Equal Employment Opportunity Commission managing multiple employment law claims of moderate to high risk and negotiating matters between opposing parties.

While attending law school in North Carolina, Ronniesha developed a passion for the courtroom where she excelled as a member of the Trial Advocacy Board placing in several mock trial competitions. Also licensed in South Carolina, as a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, Ronniesha has shared her passions for trial by judging High School Mock Trial Regional and State Competitions.

Ronniesha hails from the Sea Islands located in Charleston, South Carolina were she enjoys running on the surrounding beaches. When she is not traveling home, she enjoys advocating for women in sports, specifically women’s basketball including her beloved South Carolina Gamecocks.
